I completely understand how archaic views on marriage roles can be unattractive to a young, independent, contemporary person. That makes sense. That happens here for different reasons, usually religious. But to lose physical interest in sex altogether is troubling. That there is a preference to interact digitally is also scary.
I may not agree with but I understand if someone chooses to abstain from sex due to moral or religious principles. That’s a personal choice. Power to them. But social constructs aside, sex and all the wonderful chemical processes it produces is healthy and is as natural as breathing, eating, and sleeping. Denying this, or attempting to abstain, is like trying to hold your breath underwater. Sure you can do it for a while, but eventually you will reach a breaking point. Abstaining altogether CAN’T possibly be good for the body OR the mind.
No amount of digital wizardry can (should) replace this. I mean maybe not until we invent Ghost in the Shell-type sex droids but I digress…
